BECAUSE ELECTRONIC MUSIC CAN BE FUN!
The Carxofa Electric Band was conceived by composers Iain McCurdy and Ricardo Climent. It combines the organic with the electronic. E.g. fruits and vegetables with electronic hardware, sound and computers, to stimulate users' creativity to build and performe fun instruments.
Centre to its activities are interactive workshops for children from 8 years old, who build the instruments themselves and perform together in a concert. The Carxofa Project will be shortly under the Creative Commons License.
